Every Tuesday at 5:00 pm and on our special sale days we offer the service of selling loads or partial loads of uniform size cattle from the farm by description with estimated weight. The cattle will be picked up by the buyer at the farm, or the lot can be hauled by Athens Stockyard and weighed. The cost for this service is $12 per head, plus $1 beef check-off.

This service has been successful for those who have loads of uniform cattle, and we have many buyers who prefer buying cattle in this manner. Call Athens Stockyard with information as late as the morning of the sale day to include your cattle in these sales.
